Dear Experts,
How can we monitor SAPS usage for SAP servers?
Anyone share the ideas.
Thanks in Advance.
HI,
SAPS is a standard SAP unit to do sizing and based on the vendor hardwares the reaio of SAPS:cores will change.
How ever if u need to monitor memory, cpu etc, u can check them frm ST06 for java
and from nwa for java

Hello Das,
As far as I know there is no tool that is monitoring SAPs in an SAP system.
I haven't seen it in administration (TADM10-TADM12) training books either.
You can see and calculate SAPS values in quicksizer tool only.

Hi Das,
SAPS is a standard SAP unit, independent of hardware for sizing of a particular system.
Quicksizer is a tool provided by SAP for Sizing which based on the inputs like users, no: of docs, transactions etc gives the corresponding SAPS value for CPU, DB , SAP application.
THen you need to check with the respective hardware vendor to convert this SAPS value to respective hardware requirements in GB's or MB's.
You will get much more information in the below links:
