Unable to retrieve the system under test SAP TAO agent and ST-PI package versions.

Dear TAO Experts,

We have installed TAO 3.0.2 (ST-TST 300 Support Pack 2) in our solution manager system.

We have a system under test (SAP GUI) with the ST-PI Plug installed as well. The version of ST-PI is as follows:

Now, we have done all the connections between solution manager and system under test including the following:

1. Users with the necessary authorizations

2. RFC Connections.

The system connections are okay as per the

INFO	Connection to System XXX is possible.
INFO	Selected system: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
ALWAYS	The authentication to the system under test XXX is possible. Your test user XXXXXXXXX and the password are correct.

Now when we try to "Test Destination" from SAP TAO Front End to the System Under Test, we get the following error:

ALWAYS	Connection to System XXX is possible.
INFO	Performing self-check System under test plug-in installation
Error	Unable to retrieve the system under test SAP TAO agent and ST-PI package versions.
Error	Self-check "System under test plug-in installation" failed

Please see the screen shot below.

It would be great if you point us to directions where we can get the TAO Front end to connect to the system under test.

Hi sanjeev,

Can you go to solman_setup ->managed system setup and check the status of Plug-in for the system under test SID

A pre-requisite for the TAO setup to work is that managed system for which you try to establish connection the Plug-in status should be green.If status is not green please push the data from managed system rz70 to SLD and LMDB .

Also do you have  CBTA frontend component(software)on your  desktop

Hi Murali,

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Here's my managed system setup screen shot.

As you can see the error is "BNK~ABAP: no Diagnostics-Relevant indicator set"

The plug in status of the manager system is still not green. But because of the above error, I am unable to move to he next step.

Please can you check how this can be resolved.

ERROR: As some prerequisites are not fulfilled, next steps may fail 

ERROR: Solution Manager does not fulfill the Diagnostics prerequisites BNK~ABAP

ERROR: Managed system BNK~ABAP does not fulfill the Diagnostics prerequisites

Hi Sanjeev ,

Click on Edit assighnment and check whether you have checked all the relevant Diagnostic relevant flags .

Tip : Check on all , If the assignment is not correct solution manager itself will diable the check

I did so and now step No 1 works. However, the issue now is with step number 2.
