Enabling document date coloum to update in AR Invoice

I want to edit the document date column after Adding a transactions.

How we can do it?

Hi,

It is not possible to edit document date field once posted. Only possible to add/edit UDF values.

Hi,

In 1 server I have 2 databases, in one database I am able to edit if the document status "OPEN"

But Other database I am unable to edit the date even the status still "OPEN"

Hi,

Your requirement is to edit Docdate(posting date) not Delivery date(Tax date). Please clarify.

Hi Nagarajan,

My requirement is to edit Document date(Tax Date).

In my above image that is "Delivery date"

I don't wont to edit  Posting Date(DocDate).

Reason:

If you payment term due date is set to document date, then it is not possible to edit. Compare both payment terms setup.

Hi i have the same problem so, as suggest, i changed payment terms due date and set it both on doc date and system date but it dosen't work. Ideas ?

Hi Gobi

You cannot update the document date once the A/R Invoice is Added.  If you want to change raise the  A/R Credit Memo and repost the A/R invoice with correct document date.
