Value Mapping replication objects deletion in PI 7.4

Hello Experts,

I am trying to delete few values from PI java cache but I am unable to do so. I can insert the values but cannot delete them.

PI version is 7.4 java only. I tried it on old PI version and it works absolutely fine. I tried refreshing mapping runtime cache as well but no luck.

Has anyone come across this?

Regards,

Pratibha

Pratibha,

which cache exactly are you speaking of? Have a look at here for a overview

If you mean Integration Builders Cache Status Overview, I just tried to delete a line there without a problem on a PI 7.4 AEX SPS 7

Hi Jens,

I'm referring to runtime mapping cache here. All the value mapping replication objects are in runtikemcache and I'm trying to delete duplicate values from the cache. My xml works fine in PI 7.01 but not in PI 7.4 .

Any idea on that pls?

Hi Pratibha,

May be the GUID which you sending is not available in PI runtime cache. The GUID's in PI and the payload are different please double check.

Hi Praveen,

Thanks for your reply. I've copied the guid from PI cache and used it in the xml so don't think there is a mismatch . The fact that it works well in PI 7.01 and doesn't on 7.4 makes me feel bit nervous.

Any suggestions on that?
