How to upload mutiple description maintained with different launage key for MDG-F

Hi

It seems launage key is not supported in MDG-F (As there is no attribute).

My requirement is do initial upload all the description (Maintained in different Lanuage Key in ECC) for all controlling objects along with GL account.

But do not found any entity type for this purpose and also observed that in ECC even though text tables (SKA, CSKT so on) contains descriptions in multiple lanuage key (EN,DE,AR and so on) master tables like SKA1,CSKS always takes description fron english only.

Any clue ho\w to achieve this?

Hello Sanjay,

Multi language descriptions are indeed supported in for MDG-F entities for e,g, Cost centre and Profit centre.If you check the entity types for e.g. CCTR , check box language dependant texts is selected in the data model. This automatically generates a text table

Program USMD_DATA_MODEL could be used to find out the text tables. The multi language descriptions are stored in these tables

I want to upload muliple data description which is existing in ECC into MDG not processing in MDG.

Any idea how to do this? as do not find any entity type for Text tables in MDG.

Hello Sanjay,

It doesn't matter! Uploading description data into MDG or direct processing in MDG results in multi language descriptions data being stored in same generated text tables. As mentioned above , there is no separate entity for texts.

As for options for uploading the data , you could use either the file upload or the DIF to upload the descriptions.
