SAP Format not matching AMEX file format credit card upload

Hi,

I have received a dummy file of Credit Card statement from AMEX for upload into SAP.

I tried uploading in  PRCC, but there is error throwing.

But when I tried dowloading the file format from SAP in PRCCT, it was different from the one received from AMEX.

I uploaded the SAP file and it was successful.

I would like to know, which format is correct, SAP format or AMEX format.

How do I convert the AMEX format to one like SAP.

I have attached both formats-

Test SAP Format is the downloaded version from SAP

AMEX format- credit card file is the format sent by AMEX.

I am confused how things will work when the realtime file is transfered from AMEX.

Hi,

that's because Amex doesn't send SAP-compatible data in the first place. There are standard reports to convert them for compatibility though. It's been summarized in the following wiki:

Processing of Credit Card transactions in Travel and Expenses - ERP Human Capital Management - SCN W...

I guess you haven't searched for conversion options because you assumed the data from AMEX is directly compatible with SAP. But nope, that's not the case!

Cheers, Lukas
