Hi Experts
We are not able to create data types with Swing, even when we open a data type already created via *.tpz import or NWDS at Swing tool object is returning the same error as picture and not open.
Working for that mail I realised that the problem is showing data types and not generating them. I mean, in order to analyse if the problem is only with Data types or more objects are affected, I have created a message type and… what surprise!! Previous data type not created apparently is listed to be linked to the new message type.
Picture explanation:
Step1: Create DT via copy object:
Step2: rename object
The problem Swing is not refreshing with the DT created but DT is created and you can see it into Change List:
You can activated from change list sheet and back to Design object sheet DT appears.
Double click to show it and:
Laptop java version: 1.7.0_75
SAP PO (PI 7.31 SP14)
From NWDS no problems, different java version jdk1.6.0_45 32 bits.
Thanks in advance,
Roberto.
Hi Roberto,
If this a fresh installation, You might have an inconsistency with the Support Package or Patch level. As this a generic error and you would find with other objects mapping etc. as well.
Ask you basis team to verify the SP level of Java Components should be same.

Not a clue about the issue, we deploy from zero PO server and inconsistency disappears.
cheers,
Roberto.
