Hello,
We are using SAP solution manager to perform system monitoring. The system is set to give us regular dashboard alerts, and emails for a given level of criticality. Has anyone used this system to issue an alert over the phone? I do not mean an SMS message, but an actual call placed to an on-call individual for the most critical alerts.
If you have seen this done, please share how you have seen it handled.

What are you expecting when the phone is answered by this on call person? If it did work I would have to image it would sound like a dial up modem as the alert would be converted to analog...
You may have better luck sending the alert to a after hours notification service and have that service call your on call number giving the details of the alert.
