Settlement Rule ,GL account and WBS as settlement receiver

Dear PS Experts,

How can i create settlement rule automatically wbs project A to wbs project B (Actual Cost) .

I try to set settlement rule like a

settlement sender : WBS (project A)

settlement receiver : GL(Can refer WBS (project B) or not?)

After than try to CJ88

But Actual Cost can't show in project B

Please help.

1. Can set settlement receiver with GL + WBS or not?

2. I need to Settlement Actual Cost form project A to project B ,Please help to suggest how?

Hello,

I would assume you need WBS (project A) to WBS (project B) settlement.  No point to use GL account as settlement receiver.

Why settlement rules to be generated automatically?  Is it a repetitive process for many pairs of projects?  Would be nice if you can give a business case.

Hi Nitha,

You can settle cost from One Project to Another. But this will require a small development. In std. auto generation of settlement rules in SAP PS, you can settle to superior WBS within a Project.

You would need help of a technical person to achieve it..

from the functional side make sure that your Settlement Profile allows settlement to the WBS and GL as valid receivers..
