Crystal Reports on Top of ECC tables

Hi Friends,

I want to build a crystal report on top of  ECC tables,without creating an universe, Is this possible?

I am not able to found  the SAP ERP driver in the Crystal Reports 4.1

Hi Suresh,

By Crystal Reports 4.1 if you mean Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.1 then there isn't a driver specifically available to report off of ECC tables (The BICS method only connects to BEx queries).

You will need a Universe.

--> You should see Driver list(SAP BW MDX.SAP Infosets,SAP Operational Dta Store, SAP Tables,clusters or Function) when you select Database > Database Expert > Create New connection  >SAP Tables,clusters or function(to connect to ECC tables) > log into available systems > select the table.
