Connecting HANA to GRC for user provisioning

Hi,

We are configuring the GRC (V10.1 SP07) system to connect to HANA for user provisioning. To do this we have installed the plugin and performed the activities in HANA as per 1869912 - SAP GRC 10.1 Plug-In SAP HANA, SAP HANA Content.

In GRC system we have maintained connector as follows:

Here "HLE" is a logical connection in SM59 and "HANA LIVE DEV CONNECTION" is the connection to HANA in DBCO as per note 1869912.

We have also put in the "HLE" connection in the other connector configurations, integration scenarios, etc.

Now when performing the Authorization sync or the repository sync we hit an error as shown below:

The Error:

There is no Log in ST22. And in SLG1 this same error message as shown above is given, no details.

Has anyone done this successfully and can please help pointing to the right direction?

Thanks!!

Sammukh

Hello,

check Parameter id 1022 and try

Maintain the HANA connector ID as a value for the Parameter ID '1022'.

This parameter id is meant to store the connectors for which the objects are case sensitive.

HANA roles are case sensitive, you can check in table GRACRLCONN.

Dear Sammukh,

Switch on trace in ST01 and try to run the job in background to get more details, may be we will get some information.

Hi Sammukh,

we currently face the same issue. GRAC_REPOSITORY_OBJECT_SYNC is running properly but GRAC_PFCG_AUTHORIZATION_SYNC shows the same error.

You can check SM21 or perform the trace in ST01.

In our opinion the DB connection from GRC to HANA is timed out.

We are currently checking how we can handle this.

If you have an idea or solution please provide us the information.

Thanks and best regards

Dirk
