Not able to replace class item(K) by material varient after simulation

Hello All

When I test the simulation, the Class item K in the Super BOM is not replaced with item category L in the

variant BOM. I do not know why .

I have created the data and trying to test the same as per this link.

In fact this document has very clear information of what has to be done but still

after simulation item K is not replaced. Please refer the attachement.

Can any please let me know why it is so ?

For your issue , please check have you put the resultant item category in class correctly as shown in 4th screen shot in document.

It should have value L.

check and come back.

I can help if you provide more information and screen shots of VC you setup.

otherwise you can compare all objects with deatils mention in Classes as place holders [Components in Super BOM]  and you will find the root cause. you must be missing something and thats preventing you to achive desired results.
