Error Installing MAXDB while installing NW dev Studio

Hi,

I get below error when i tried installing SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Errors occurred during the installation.

Errors occurred during the installation.

An error occurred and product installation failed. Look at the log file C:\sapdb\JP1\log.txt for details.

could you please provide me help to pass through this hurdle.

I had installed Developer studio some time Back and at later point of time i Uninstalled it.

Hi Anjina

You are trying to install Netweaver Studio.So why u need any database for this.To install the studio u dont need any database.Its only when you install a workspace that is sap instance + Netweaver studio you nedd database.

In your case i would suggest that the uninstallation of the netweaver studio did not happen properly.So delete the traces of previous installation and your problem will besolved.
