Hi,
We have created a physical standby database DR server (oracle 11g, manual log shipping). by mistake we have missed some archive logs (around three). This is a testing DR system of our Quality server. Since we do not required data consistency. Is there any way to by pass the missing logs and apply further logs.
please advise.
Thanks
Sunil
What you can do is to take an incremental backup using RMAN to the OS level and apply it on the standby database.

No way.. you wont be able to appy further logs if there are any missing logs.
why can't you restore from the backup and then apply the logs?
