idoc error with bd87 in SRM

Former Member

Hello,

I have tried to launch some idocs in status 30 with the transaction BD87 in SRM and now the status is 02 due to this error:

Function module ZSR_GB_I_IDOC_P1_ARIBA_PROXY is not RFC-compatible

Message no. E0035

Diagnosis

Function module ZSR_GB_I_IDOC_P1_ARIBA_PROXY, which should assume
reponsibility for further IDoc processing, has been stored for port
SRM_XI_P1.

Such function modules must support Remote Function Call. However, function
module ZSR_GB_I_IDOC_P1_ARIBA_PROXY does not have this attribute. As a result,
this IDoc could not be processed further.

Procedure

Please change the attributes of function module ZSR_GB_I_IDOC_P1_ARIBA_PROXY
or enter an RFC-compatible function module in the port definition for port
SRM_XI_P1.

These idocs contain the items of a shopping cart. The line item 1 was sent properly without run the idoc by BD87.

Thank you.

Best regards.

Hi,

Would  you please check if 'remote-enabled mode' is ticked in attribute tab for this Z-function module(trx se37)?
If not, please tick it and check if this error still persists.

Hello Ivy,

it is not ticked, but this error is raised only for some idocs. Others have been run properly with the same message, interlocutor and destination.

Thank you.

Hi,

This is a Z-FM module, so I am not aware of its usage.

But from my understanding, some FMs needs to be used in the RFC call, so RFC-enabled is required.
The solution in the popup message is clear:
===

Please change the attributes of function module ZSR_GB_I_IDOC_P1_ARIBA_PROXY

or enter an RFC-compatible function module in the port definition for port

SRM_XI_P1
===

If this is a FM defined in ECC side, it will be called from SRM. So it should be remote enabled.

Best regards,

Ivy
