Install SAP Netweaver 7.4 Java SR2

Hi Basis Expert,

We are planning to install SAP Netweaver 7.4 Java SR2 (Application Sever Java).

My question is once we install SAP Netweaver 7.4 Java SR2 which SP level we will get.

I tried to find in few forums but i was unable to find it.

Do we have any specific SAP Note.

Please do the needful.

The system will be on SP stack 8. Here is the information.

Since SAP NetWeaver 7.4 SR2 is based on SP Stack 8, the next SP stack to be applied will be SP Stack 9.SAP NetWeaver 7.4 Support Release 2 (SR2) is a new installation and upgrade version (a new set of DVDs) that includes corrections and features provided with SP Stacks 2 to 8. It is a significant step towards a simpler installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.4 up to and including SP Stack 8.

It appears to me that you will need to do a stack update to move to SP9

Hello Anil,

Have you checked the Product Availability Matrix ? Check the link the latest available SP is 09 (11/2014)
