Hi Experts
We have a scenario where the ECC team created a custom check in ECC to determine the correct Plant/Profit Center combination. They created a lookup table "zfi_asset_val" that contains the correct entries/combinations and a function/include "ZMM_WERKS_PRCTR_VALIDATION1".
The problem is that MDG does not execute this check. We have a co-deployment scenario. First price would be to get MDG to execute this check but, alternatively, I was thinking of doing the same check in BRF+ using the DB lookup existence check to the Z lookup table. The check should therefore determine that if the elements WERKS and PRCMARCBA of structure MARCBASIC is populated that this combination exists in the Z lookup table for the corresponding columns.
Can someone please shed some light on how to achieve this and what would be the correct way of doing this?
Regards
Danie
Hello,
This talks about DB Lookup in details: http://scn.sap.com/community/grc/blog/2013/03/15/using-brf-db-lookup-to-create-complex-msmp-rules
