Hi,
I have a doubt regarding BOP.
There are stocks available for a particular product as well as Planned Orders.
When we run the BOP, Sales orders are only confirmed against available stock, even if there are planned orders are available the SO are not confirmed against them.
Is this the right behavior. If not, can somebody please explain.
Thanks

Well, it depends. BOP will confirm in whatever way you have configured it to confirm.
Do you want it to confirm against planned orders? If so, one thing you have to ensure is that your availability check includes planned orders as supply elements. If you are using "Product Availability Check", you can discover what you are currently using in IMG > APO > GATP > Product Availability Check > Maintain Check Control. Select the Checking Group and Business Event that is relevant, select ATP Check Control; ensure that the proper type of planned orders are included (any or all of the following elements, depending upon your business requirements: AI, AJ, AK, AL, DE, EE; plus any 'self-made' planned order categories).

Hi,
Back order processing will not be working on these criteria's
1. In availability check if you maintained 01 means it will not work
2. If you check fixed date and quantity means it will not work
3. Then check weather checking rule for updating back orders i.e, we have to assign BO to our plant
