BO Authorization - SAP Lumira (your security profile does not include permission to create documents)

Dear,

We are using SAP Lumira Desktop based on universes. Users logon by using their SAP BO (4.1 SP5) account. All users are split in groups and have different security profiles.
But all users may have access to all universes and also to SAP Lumira to use the universes and create reports.

For the administrator user we don't have any issue. However for the other user accounts we get following error:

"Cannot load selected universe: your security profile does not include permission to create documents".e a

The user sees all universes and he can also select the universe, but in the next step (where you need to select the objects of the universe) he gets the above mentioned error.

We already tried a lot of security settings, however we have no idea what needs to be changed.

Hi Arne,

Can these users access the same universes using Web Intelligence?  Can they create reports using Web Intelligence?

Thanks a lot. I enabled the authorization for WEBI: Documents - Enable creation.

Now it is working.

I had no idea that you need to change WEBI authorizations to give users access to SAP Lumira, stupid tough...
