Hi All,
Using SUM10SP12_3-20006540.SAR to apply EHP7 SPS6 to our ERP ECC6.0 NW7.01 system. SSFS has been implemented on all our Unix systems and I have used this SUM to sucessfully apply EHP7 to and HR system in the last fortnight.
Error message that I am getting during extraction phase is:
Cannot list directory '/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/security/rescssfs/key': No such file or directory
The thing is this directory is empty, and it is empty everywhere, so shouldn't be an issue as it was not a problem with the HR application. I have als tried using the latest SUM patch SUM10SP12_6-20006540.SAR, same error. SP12_3 SUM was used for the HR system, so I know that one works.
Any advice/suggestions always well received here.
In the meantime I am going to try creating and empty file.
Thanks
Hi Maria
You might be victim of a typo error at some stage with SSFS
The good path should be
'/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/security/rsecssfs/key'
and not
'/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/security/rescssfs/key'
Check your env var RSEC_SSFS*

Hi Maria.
Please reconfigure SSFS with note 1639578. SUM is looking for SSFS directory in a hardcoded directory structure. After SSFS is configured correctly, SUM will progress to the next phase without issues.

János
