Excel Error R6025

Dear experts,

One user is getting the below error when accessing an MS Excel spreadsheet exported previously from SAP.

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP ...

R6025

- pure virtual function call

SAP version is: 8.81 PL7.

User recently had s/w upgraded Office 2013 version. The original excel was exported in the version Office 2003.

Any one else encountered this error? Every clue would be helpful.
