Hi shiny,

In your application for JCO only those message server will be reflected that are registered with your SLD server.

You are not getting any message server implies that the SLD server that you configured using your Visual Admin does not have any R/3 server registered with it.

First check if the SLD server has any message server registered. If not register a R/3 message server and try again.

Thanks

Hi,

Before this you need to configure the R/3 system to portal .

Once you have done that then you will get the Message server.

The procedure is like this.

U need to create the R/3 system in the portal after in SLD u need to add the properties of r/3 system and sap gatway and TCP/IP name in VA.

Once SLD is connected u can check in ContentAdmin->web dynpro-> maintain SLD and check the SLD is successfully connected.

After that u need to create the JCo names MetaData and model data once these are created ping the Metadata and model data successfully connected.

Once Jco names are correct then only u can go import model form r/3 system

There u need to give R/3 system properties properly.

Check this thread also.

Thanks,

Lohi.

Hi Shiny,

it's not from System Administration to create JCo Destinations

But You have to go to Content Administration>WebDyn pro>Click on Create Jco Destinations>Give Destination Name and Client Name( give the sytem's name which you wanted to create JCo for, i.e. r/3 client number)>J2ee Cluster( check the check box if sytem is avaliable by defaul or select the system from drop down)>Connection type(Dictionary Meta Data)>Give Application Server Connections details>name of system & password>click finish.

But before all this SLD has to be configured.

Hi Shiny

Try to create a new system from System Administration -> System Configuration from this select a folder in PCD in which you have to create the system right click on the folder and select New -> System (from template) and select the type of SAP system you are creating and in next steps enter all parameters. then that system will appear in the drop down.

Thanks
