How to delete queue in SAINT?

Former Member

Dear friends,

I want to upgrage PI_BASIS release but our SAINT queue is blocked by

a BI_CONT load which stopped with error. We dont want to have BI_CONT

actually. I have seen similar issues in forum and somebody change the

table to remove the patch but the reply is not clear enough.

It looks like this problem can be solved by deleting some entries in a table. Is here somebody kindly to tell me the detail steps?

If somebody want to tell me privately, icersli@yahoo.com.cn is available.

Many many thanks in advance!

Hi,

If the loading is stopped with an error. That means the ADD-On 'BI_CONT' has not been loaded successfully. The corresponding OCS package will be still reatained in the queue. Just execute transaction code SPAM and then delete it from the queue.

sowmya

Hello Cathy,

If you don't want to use BI_CONT any more, you can reset the queue in SAINT. But this tool is only provided by SAP and it can't be released to the customers. You can open an OSS message and it's very easy to reset the queue. Basically what it does is to remove the entries in system tables and synchronize the TP buffer. And after that you cna define a new queue to install other components.
