Hi,
We recently configured the Service Desk functionality of in our Solution Manager 7.1(SP10) Development System and used it for about six weeks for creating and processing Incidents. It performed as expected. Now we moved our configuration activities to our SolMan Production system, through Transport. When we tested it there, by creating Incident Message, we got the error about 'INVESTIGATION' not found.
I'd appreciate an expert's guide on how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Hi Ossie,
Every time you create an incident message, the system will try to automatically create an item with this product name. This way, you have to create a service product with name INVESTIGATION. You can check note 1913133 (point 6) to get some printscreens.
Alternatively, you can implement a BADI CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI to assign a product at your choice.
