SMSETUP: AGS_BC_AUTO_CONF Aborted

Dear All,

I just updated the SPS09 on solman 7.1 and now getting below error in Configure Automatically phase of SOLMAN_SETUP.

SMSETUP: AGS_BC_AUTO_CONF Aborted No selections for program AI_SC_REFRESH_READ_ONLY_DATA

I googled it and tried to implement but did still same issue?

then getting this dump

Hi Abdul,

  "Method "CHCK_STAT_OF_IBASE_CONSIST_REP" is unknown

Could you check with SAP Note 1914296 - Checking installed base consistency before creating components

hi Rana.

During the upgrade SP09 on SOLMAN, this note became part of  inconsistent notes in SNOTE  and

There are also showing number of SAP Note under INCONSISTENT Tree. Is there any FM/Report which implement all notes in one go or i have to implement the all notes one by one  OR don't apply.

Oh Great Abdul !! Nice to hear issue has been resolved for now & it was really nice to work with you on issue.

Now what do you say about remaining INCONSISTENT Notes.

I don't think we need to go for this until n unless any related issue comes to the system.Hope you'll also agree with me.

I believe inactive objects in the system will lead to issues now /in the future .

You need to  take care of any inactive objects in the system  ( caused by inconsistent Notes ) , Previously seen that when we apply the central note  it leads to further issues  in case you have inactive objects

Hi Abdul ,

Have you applied SAP Note 1817043

If not Can you perform as follows

1 ) Implement SAP Note 875986

2 ) De - Implement any Notes which are in Error Status

3. Perform an SPAU adjustment

Call transaction SPAU ("Modification Adjustment: Object Selection") and check the status of the SAP Notes.

Perform the adjustment for all SAP Notes that already exist or reset them to their original status.

You can find further information about the modification adjustment in the documentation and in the SDN (for example, at http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-10312).

4. Ensure that there are no inactive objects in the system

Call transaction SE80 ("Object Navigator"). You can use this transaction to display any inactive objects in the system.

To do this, select "Inactive Objects" from the dropdown menu and enter "*" in the user field.

Ensure that there are no inactive objects in your system.

5) Implement Sap Note 1817043

Is there any FM/Report which implement all notes in one go or i have to implement the all notes

For this 'm not sure for any FM/Report to implement all notes in one go.Here i suggest you try to implement this note first and execute IB_GEN transaction to check & resolve for any inconsistencies first.

hi,

i just rechecked about dump which is not occurring when I re-execute to Configure Automatically in Basic Configuration while in SM37 this job SMSETUP: AGS_BC_AUTO_CONF is canceling every time.
