Missing modeler quick view perspective

Hi,

after installing updates for Eclipse, the modeler intro perspective with the links to create eg. Analytic vies or stored procedures is gone.

How can I get it back ß tried restore perspective etc, but no success.

Any help appreciated.

Seems that the update has removed the "Quick Launch" view in the Modeler perspective.

It cannot be found with the quick view tool.

What can I do do restore that ?

Hi Marcus,

Not sure whether this works. Try to clean all temporary downloaded updates and caches by running this command in cmd prompt.

path to studio\hdbstudio.exe -clean

This command will open your studio after cleaning up caches. Run it only once. Hope this helps. If this does not work then i suggest to reinstall a fresh copy.

unfortunately running eclipse with  the -clean command did not restore the Quick Launch view.

Hi Marcus,

Try Preferences->SAP HANA->Modeler->Restore Defaults.

Also Try

Preferences->SAP HANA->Modeler->Quick launch->Restore defaults

If still its not resolved there is no way to repair eclipse. You need to reinstall.

Tried all this, even reinstalled Eclipse Luna from scratch, but no difference.

On another computer the same thing occurred after choosing "seach for updates" and installing the upgrade.

I have a "Quick Launch" entry in the modeler perspectives help menu.

However, selecting that does not bring any screen.
