I am also not sure what multithread call means.

In case your question was about parallel calls to ME, I can recollect SAP Note 2006675 - 'Parallel webservice calls for log nonconformance fail'. There was an improvement in ME 6.1, which allowed to process parallel NC calls against the same SFC.

this is the error message :

The request channel timed out attempting to send after
00:01:00. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase
the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may
have been a portion of a longer timeout.

Such error sounds like related to a client rather than to a server. Is this error from defaultTrace log?

Please check FCA thread count of NW and ICM timeouts.

What does "multithread call" mean?

If it is about possibility to call the same WS several times at the same moment, then yes.

Multithreading in general is not a feature of SAP ME.
