Regarding the Alerts is not getting triggered

Hi Experts,

               i had configured the alerts configuration like alrtcategory,alertrules and mail host configuration in pi.here the mail gets created when i test with the RSAALRTTEST.the mail gets triggered successfully but when an error occurs in end to end scenario the mail is not getting triggered.can somebody please help me on this issue.
