Hi,
Can we change pasword for Windows user such as xyzadm (where xyz is the SAP System ID) and SAP-created users during installation such as SAPJSF, J2EE_ADMIN, J2EE_GUEST, etc.
What is the impact, because some of the users are needed for background job?

Hi,
Yes you can change the settings. It's advisable to give one password during installation but in case you still want to change, this is the procedure.
After all the parameter defination you get an option to start the installation. That sheet contains the summary of all the parameters. So here you can check the parameter having required user and password and then click on revise.
Then you get the option to change the password.
You can set your own and then start the installation.

Hi,
Yes you can change the windows and sap password. While doing so whenever you change the SAP password maintain it both from the ABAP side and the java side.
So how should you do it.
Go to the transaction SU01 and maintain the user there.
Also from the visual admin you can maintain the same user.
These two steps will take care of it. Nothing else to do.
