Installation SM 4.0 SR2, problem during Post load activities

Hello, I am installing SOL 4.0 in HP-UX parisc, I get the following error during

Post load activites. I didn't found anything about it. If somebody can help me it will be great.

Dear all,

i solved the problem by changing the permission of /oracle/<SID>/oraarch owner. it was root:root and i changed it to ora<sid>:dba. after reruning the installation it went fine.

By the way, i am installtin IDES ERP 6.0 EhP 4 on netweaver 7.01 on top of RHEL 5 and Oracle 10.2.0.4.

I know that the thread is too old, but i am writing to recored the solution.

Hello Ivonne,

I finally solved the problem by testing the connection between the database and SAP (R3trans -d). In the "trans.log" file, there were an error message regarding the SAPUSER table and the OPS$ mechanism.

Hello Xavier, No i didn't solve the problem i have to start installation again and then appear other error similar. The solution was in change permissions for filesystem

/oracle/<SID>/oraarch Problem was that not possible to create archive files.

I hope this gave you idea.
