BW perspective auth issue

Hi All,

I am facing an auth issue when trying to connect through BW perspective of HANA studio.

Attached is the image below.. Please let me know the roles I need to get this working. I need to pass this info to the security team.

Hi Shyam,

You need to get belwo roles to connect the BA HANA Box from Eclipse.

ABAP Dev Tools role : SAP_BC_DWB_WBDISPLAY.

Authorization object S_RFC

               RFC Object Names    DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET RFCPING                                                   RFC_GET_FUNCTION_INTERFACE

                                                  SADT_REST_RFC_ENDPOINT                                                   SUSR_USER_CHANGE_PASSWORD_RFC                                                                                          SYSTEM_RESET_RFC_SERVER

Authorization object S_TCODE

          SADT_START_TCODE

          SADT_START_WB_URI

Security People can get this info using the ST01.

try adding URI values  /sap/bw/modeling/* to auth S_ADT_RES

Hi Shyam,

Refer SAP Note 1969032 - Missing authority for resources related to BW Modeling Tools to resolve this issue.
