Hi All,
Could you please help me to understand the difference in SAP HANA Operational and Agile data marts.
I know that SLT is possible in Operational data mart but not in Agile.
Could you please help me with scenarios on when to go for Agile or Operational data marts.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Venkat
Hi Vijay Kumar,
I quote some words from HA200 training material.
Agile Data Marts (More flexibility compared to EDW environment)
Features: 1. based on analytic data models; 2. data has been transformed, in favor of the business problem at hand; 3. typically contains no time critical data and therefore utilize traditional ETL.
Operational Data Marts (Real time reporting on operational data)
Features: 1. views calculate results for reports in real time on the actual operation data; 2. No transformation during load step; 3. real-time replication of time critical data (SLT)
