Hi Abdullah,

There is one more way for creating an iView using a web dynpro application.

When you deploy and run a web dynpro application, an explorer window opens up, and you can see your application in the portal environment. Capture the url of this page from the explorer's URL field and save it. Now login to your portal, and create a url iView in your Portal Content folder. Use the url you saved before, for the creation of this url iView. And in this way you will be able to create an iView out of your web dynpro application.

Hi Abdullah Ismail,

Go to Content Administration>Portal Content> Create a Folder( right click on portal content and you will observer folder option, give folder name and id).

Now that Folder is created, go to the Folder( say Sample).

Sample(right click and select iview)>Iview>Web Dynpro Java Application>Create a single full-page Iview from each application variaent>local(select the web dyn pro application which you have created)-->

Give the Iview Name,Id and then open the Iview and then Preview the Iview created.

You can add that Ivew to a page, just follow the process i am mentioned above and preview it.

Incase you have any queries please let me know.

The Whole process is in EP7.0

if helpful please reward points.

Abdullah,

I think you have given wrong parameters, please chek it once. the error what you have mentioned occurs when you have given wrong component name.

i mean have you given correct Application name and component name.

please check it once.
