GROUP_BY_SUPPORTS_COMPLEX parameter for DB2

Hi All,

I am trying to set the Parameter GROUP_BY_SUPPORTS_COMPLEX for a DB2 database in the PRM file but still getting the error message. I have tried to include the same Parameter in the SQL Parameters list in the UNX universe but to no avail.

Is this function supported by DB2 ?

Hi Arjit,

This should be supported.

locate the appropriate PRM file

In a text editor, edit the prm file located in the\dataAccess\connectionServer\ directory CHANGE the setting No to Yes PARAMETER NAME "GROUP_BY_SUPPORTS_COMPLEX cHECK OUT kB >

Just make sure you are hitting the right prm file.
