Batch derivation is not working for some characteristics

Hi Experts,

We have batch derivation set for (material type & material) at client level. I have maitained the characteristics with tcode DVR2(for both sender and receiver material), maintained characteristics with tcode DVS2 (for sender-sender, receiver-receiver, sender-receiver combinations). Also this characteristics are not being used in any of the quality plans.

Now, while doing the GR for Production order, there are some charateristics that are not being copied to from sender batch to receiver batch. what could be the reason? for your information, in tcode DVMO- Batch monitoring, this charateristics are displayed with the values but are not copied to the receiver batch.

Are the characteristics are same in DVR2 and DVS2?

Please check DVC8 Assignment of batch search procedure. It could happen be due to missing condition records.

There is a report RVBDRVMB, which you can use to carry out derivations that were

already carried out.

Transaction DVMAN Manually derivation for example for testing or reproducing and check the log.

Then check the derivation result in transaction DVMO.
