How to land up in XI?

Gurus,

I am SAP XI certified but I do not have any practical SAP experience (not even as ABAPer). I have good idea about various ABAP topics. I have many years of IT experience (non-SAP technologies).

I am looking for junior level XI positions and I am not really concerned about salary.

But I am not able to find any junior positions. Can anybody suggest how I can start my career as XI developer?

Hi Naveen,

It really seems interesting that you have cleared your XI certification but not have practical knowledge of XI. You must be a extraintelligent guy, nice work.

To get knowledge about XI you should go through the various scenarios in XI. As you are XI certified then atleast you must have basic knowledge of it. Now start doing practical examples that how XI work in several situations and how does it process internally while working with any scenario.

Hi naveen ,

Try to get some hands on XI for a real project .collect some real fdd and try to prepare yr own technical designs for those fdd's and then compare them with actual TDD ,u will observe the diffrence and then try to bridge the gap between yr understanding and actual implementation.

The main objective here is to get familiar with the practical knowledge of XI rather than theoritical concepts.And then later u will become more confident in the field to get a good job.

There are lot of requirements in XI presently
