Can't logon to ABAP project anymore...

Hello,

after a change of the application server name I can not login to the ABAP project any more. I can login to the system via SAP Logon, I can ping the system via the new name. I also tried to create a new ABAP project, but still I can not login to the ABAP project.

Any Ideas?

Thank you in advance,

Peter

Hi Peter,

it seems that you are running into a similar problem that is described in support note

https://css.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/148832 .

Adding the server name to the instance's profile parameter gw/alternative_hostnames could probably be the solution.

Good luck,

Marco

Hello Peter,

where and how exactly did you change the application server name?

Which exceptions do appear in the Eclipse error log?

Best regards,

Marco

Hi Marco,

I changed it in SAP logon in respect to the relevant system. in the error log it says:

Discovery not available for destination H1D_130_plangner_de; using default settings

Hi Peter,

the easiest way to get the full log is menu "Help -> Collect Support Information".

If you send the zip file to me via e-mail, I will have a look at it.

Best regards,

Marco
