Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to build partial quantities first stock removal rule for following scenario: For ex: there is order with 61 EA. So, we have storage

of goods 50 EA, 12EA, 11EA, 10EA , 1 EA and others quantities as well. So, system has to make efficient picking with partial quantities first. How can   I build that rule and requirement to meet this scenario. Can you please help me in this?

Thank you...

Hi,

what do you mean with "efficient"?

There is a rule "Partial Quantities first" (Strategy: Partial Quantities First - Putaway and Stock Removal Strategies - SAP Library )

but this is based on the idea that you have a "standard" size. For this you either need pack specs as described or work with alternative unit of measures.

Now what you describe is that you simply have a mess (if every quantity is different). If you just wan the system to pick the smallest first, you just sort by the available quantity field.

If with "efficient" you mean that the system should try to find the best fitting quantity - then you have to develop it.
