Actually i wanted to update/create material group1. see below screenshot for the material display screen.

I have successfully cretaed the new material group 01 with below steps.

Step 1: Go to path SPRO--> SAP reference IMG-->Logistics - General-->Material Master-->Settings for Key Fields-->Data Relevant to Sales and Distribution-->Define Material Groups

Step 2: Select material group 01

Step 3: New entry

Give a screenshot of the material master with the field you want to update.

Please try with transaction code MM02
