We completed the installtion of ECC6 (ABAP+JAVA)in HP Ux11i and oracle 10g using High Availabilty option.
- ASCS installation using virtual host of CI.
- SCS Installation using virtual host of CI
- DB Installation using vir. host of DB
- CI instl. using virt. host of CI
The installtion was done thro' CI Server and cluster package of db running in CI host.
We are able to connect to SAP. When I am trying to stopsap usinf <sid>adm, I am getting the error
#stopsap pf=<startprofile with path>
No start profiles found
Also HA Partner says I need to move the db packages to DB server. But the users <sid>adm and ora<sid> are not created in DB server. Now how to copy the releavent files to DB server and what are the fiels/directories to be copied from CI server. For example, /etc/passwd,group, /home/<sidadm>, files in /oracle/<SID> etc.
Kindly help in the above 2 issues.
Thanks
Lakshmi
no need to create/copy any users for the installation, this will be done by SAPINST. Go thourgh the installation document there it is mentioned clearly how to install using High Availability.
