rz10: cannot activate profile

Hi there,

I have installed IDES CRM 2005. After logging in as DDIC or SAP* I am trying to activate the profile by transaction RZ10.

To speed up the system. I created parameter PHYS_MEMSIZE by tcode RZ10. But when I try to activate the profile, it is giving error. "unknown error in activating the profile".

Any suggestion will be really appreciated.

Also if the changes have been made at SAP level then it needs to get recycled in order to activate the profile. In this case RZ10 wont help..

Thanks guys. I went to utilities -> import and from there I found the relevant active profile name and made that active. So got solved. Appreciate your help.

Hi

Try to import the profile from RZ10 > Utilities>Import ---> Profiles of active Server

this step will activate the server at database level.

Hi Samrat,

I did check for consistency of the profile before activating but it is ok. Check and save is ok on the profile but the Activation does not work and still giving error. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.
