Hi All,

i am currently facing same problem where my SLDCHECK, SLDAPICUST is running fine.

JCO RFC provider is already maintained at PI -ABAP and JAVA Stack .

SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC is working fine.

while pushing data supplier via rz70 it is creating the SLD_UC rfc but giving me the same error.

i ahve maintained reginfo and secinfo file .../ACL parameter is set to 1 .

ddont know where i am getting wrong...can anyone please help me.

Error DetailsRETURN CODE: 748

---> "access to registered server denied" (SAP note 63347)

*** WORKAROUND

Apply the settings mentioned at the "Disabling gateway security" section of the following WIKI:

http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/JIV8F#Disabling%20gateway%20security

These will disable the gateway security features.

*** APPROPRIATE SOLUTION

From a security perspective, the workaround above is not acceptable.

The final solution is to create the proper security rules.

You can read the following SAP WIKI page for assistance with that.

http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/4QCZFg

In addition, the SAP KBA 1850230 has a video illustrating how the reginfo rules work.

i have already maintained required RFC from ECC to PI (ABAP+JAVA) ..LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI is working fine...

i have set gw/ACL_MODE to 0 so that it will not consider reginfo and secinfo.

now even the data collection job RZ70 is failing with

i have set gw/ACL_MODE to 0 so that it will not consider reginfo and secinfo.

The parameter gw/acl_mode controls the default rules when there is no reginfo / secinfo.

However, if the reginfo file exists the gateway will use it disregarding the value of gw/acl_mode.

Apply the workaround I sent in my previous post (the complete workaround, all steps).

Isaías

Dear Isaias,

Thanks you very much for your input...it did work for me now...did the same thing in both the systems once  and reverted the parameter for /ACL to 1 now....

i noticed that after you change the Parameter or  re-read the reginfo file scenarios...you should restart the SLD once and start the data collection further .

Thank you very much . i am further planning to do same for JAVA standalone and DUAL STACK.

Thanks

Hi,

I had exactly the same issue which was resolved after deleting the SLD_UC and SLD_NUC RFC's and recreated SLD_UC manually.

Give the gateway host and port in RZ70 and execute to start data Collection.

Following two notes really helped to resolve the issue and our case is we have two different SAP systems installed on same Server.

1727745 - RFC connection error while executing transaction RZ70

1057720 - Missing configuration for JCO/RFC destinations of the SLD.

Hi SAP Basis,

Hope the issue is resolved. And can you check the entries which you have maintianed in SAPAPICUST.

and the port and host names are matching. also do verify the entries for the sapgw & sapms in the /etc/services. in both the host SLD & your connecting system.

Once this is confirmed continue to troubleshoot as per the notes and thread mentioned above.

And Update us on the outcomes.

Ram

Hi,

THe issue seems to related to the target server rejecting the connection. THis can be also related to missing gateway entries.

May be the below links might be useful

Hi,

Hope you are doing good.
Sriram is right as usual, SAP KBA 1727745 - RFC connection error while executing transaction RZ70

usually helps in such cases. Also review what is the security level enabled in the instance as per the configuration of parameter gw/reg_no_conn_info. This parameter will enable special settings that should be controlled in the configuration of reginfo file. Further information about this parameter is also available in the following link:

Gateway security settings - extra information regarding SAP note 1444282 - Security and Identity Man...

Hi

1.  If possible just restart the central SLD and then check the connection test.

2. Could you refer the SAP KBA

1727745 - RFC connection error while executing transaction RZ70

Hi,

Could you check for parameter gw/acl_mode and set the value to 0 .

You could also check with SAP KBA's 1408081 & 1069911.

Hi SAP Basis,

Follow the sapnote 1476839 - PI SLD: Error accessing a remote SLD via RFC

Follow the steps:

1. Logon to the remote SLD with "http://<host>:<port>/sld"

2. Navigate to 'Administration --> Details --> Data Suppliers'

3. check whether the 'RFC server threads' are running.

Also check the  'Gateway Host' and 'Gateway Port' entries displayed there. Verify whether they are correct.

You can change 'Gateway Host' and 'Gateway Port' settings with 'Administration --> Settings --> Section datasupplier'.

Leave the fields empty to use the defaults. Restart the SLD after that.

With Regards
