Hello,

to view the "Addidtional Functions" - > "Export to cFolders..." option, you have to set the parameter CDESK_CFOLDER_UPLOAD = 'X' in the CDESK - Customizing (CDESK_CUS).

Hi Martin,

Thanx fr reply.

i have checked that n found that for group user i have <b>only 2 parameters</b>

viz:

<b>cdesk_cfolder_upload

and

cdesk_export_excel</b>

still nothing appears.

also no other parameters exist can u tell me why is it so.

there are diff user groups which have no. of parameters

(including <b>cdesk_cfolder_upload</b> and <b>cdesk_export_excel</b>).

About your comment<b> " Another source could also be an activated BADI which influences the user menu."</b>

<b>This will be taken care by BASIS or whom?</b>

Hi Niranjan,

this is really strange. There are ~30 / 40 parameters, which you can add to your profile, when you are in edit mode. I also guess you avoided common errors like customizing and testing in two different clients. You also have to re-start the CDESK after you changed and saved the changes in the profile for good measure.

I was talking about BADI CDESK_TBM_ADDIN. Usually the BADIs are taken care by the project team or the basis team.

Best regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

I know @ parameters. there are 30-40 parameters defined bt not for user group <b>USER</b>, but for other user groups.

Talking @ clients, I m working on SAME CLIENT, so no worries.

I dont know wat the prob is...

I ll check with Basis people @ <b>BADI CDESK_TBM_ADDIN</b>.

I guess the prob lies at this point only.

Thanx

Hi Martin,

I have checked thru IMG that the BADI <b> CDESK_TBM_ADDIN</b> has been implemented.

bt can u tell me how to check if its activated or deactivated.

Thanx

Hi Niranjan,

sorry, was on vacation...

Please go to transaction SE18, here enter as the BADI Name: 'CDESK_TBM_ADDIN'. Now go in the menu to 'Enhancement Implementations' -> 'Overview' -> 'Display' (in the small pop-up). If there is an implementation of the BADI, you will find here the status, like active, who activated it, etc.

If the BADI is not implemented or active, I don't have any other clue. Maybe one of the CAD Implementation Partners is on-site and can have a look?

Another way to dry-run this feature is to create in CDESK_CUS a new entry on CAD Systems level 'NONE'. In Group Maintenance please enter 'DEFAULT'. Now please enter the parameters and save. When you now start transaction CDESK without attached CAD System, you should be able to see the additional buttons.

Best regards,

Martin

Dear Martin,

Was lil busy with EHS...

ll ask Basis @ status of badi...

@ dry run option, its there but not working, may be the problem is with Badi Status.

Hi Niranjan,

this additional menue is part of CAD View and of SAP View. Maybe in CDESK_CUS you assignment the parameter to a different group? If you enter the group name 'DEFAULT', then this setting will be used, if your user name is not mentioned in another line. Another source could also be an activated BADI which influences the user menu.

In note 828084 there is a little bit more info about the integration.

Best regards,

Martin
