Material Master in EWM

Hello EWM Experts,

I am in EWM module.I am not clear about how the Material master data is maintained in it.Example in Warehouse Management material master is created once and than it is extended for all the warehouses.

What is the scenario in EWM,do the material is extended to WM Wrehouses or EWM warehouses or both.

Also what are the corresponding tables in EWM in which I can fing material and corresponding warehouse.

Hi,

if you decide to use warehouse product.

Warehouse specific data - /SAPAPO/MATLWH

Storage type specific data /SAPAPO/MATLWHST

But as Juergen writes in his blog, you may have your material only in /SAPAPO/MATKEY and other basic related tables (e.g. MATMAP, MATPACK) and use only predefined warehouse proces types in EWM.
