I've tried about everything i can find to sort out my issue but don't seem to be getting anywhere.
We have a evaluation copy of SAP CR 2013 SP5 - When trying to select more than one table it will crash with no error.
The event log shows;
Faulting application name: crw32.exe, version: 14.1.5.1501, time stamp: 0x54616206

Anyone have any ideas or similar experience?
I would really love to get this working before the evaluation ends so i can convince my board to make the purchase.
Hi Scott,
What database are you reporting against?
What database driver do you use to connect to that said database?
And how - ODBC, OLEDB, Native?

Hi Scott
The error points to the MS VC++ runtime possibly not playing nice here. I'd like you to uninstall CR. Then do a repair of the VC++ runtime:
or download the runtime from following link and try to install that.:

Hi Scott
Very, very strange...
Can you please try to now do a repair on the db Client?
Umm, I'm not 100% sure if you are trying OLD DB or ODBC (in the post from Feb. 6, there is a note re. OLE DB, but the screenshot is ODBC - perhaps just for illustration purposes(?)). Nevertheless, can you try ODBC, if you're going OLE DB and vice versa?
E.g.; do you have the issue using both ODBC and OLE DB?

Hi Scott
I'd like to try to connect to the database using a utility called SQLCON
Also, can you connect to the db using a UDL?
Finally, in CR, have a look at this screen:
Enable only Tables, then try to connect to the database.
