Thanks Prakhar.

What I want to achieve is to be able to record effort estimate for a change request. Aside using IT PPM integration, can this be achieved within ChaRM?

Hi

Answer yes for effort Tracking.

you can try below ..maintaining your transaction type.

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-27296

pls enable in the business role "time recording" block as it is not available by default.

this will resolve ur issue and you can maintain efforts for all the changes

hope this helps

Thanks

Thanks for the prompt response.

I already configure time recording but that is used as an after effect. Need something to be used before changes are carried out. Just for the Change manager to have an idea of the effort estimate in effecting a change before approval.

well in that case you can create some new fields using AET for your requirement.

where people can fill in ur CR that these many days or efforts are required.

hope this helps

Thanks

Prakhar
