E-Mail functionality not working for urgent correction in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP:8 in CRM WebUI

Hi All,

I have define action profiles & Condition for Requester & Change manager in Zmcr both are working fine.

but our client needs an email notification on action "Successfully tested" i have created action profile in  ZDHF, zmhf_actions & define conditions as E0005 but still whenever tester confirms the tests in CHARM Action-> successful tested.

Thanks for quick reply.

I have already checked this link before.

I have configured on the same as described in above link.

but still email is not triggering for urgent change whenever tester clicks on ACTION-> successfully  tested in CHARM.

Is the action getting scheduled or can you please check the log under SCHEDULED ACTIONS tab

thanks for your reply.

action is not getting scheduled. i have check in logs also.

but the status changed to successfully tested.

Hi Ashish,

status is changed by a different action which is selected manually

but for email action these are triggered automatically in the background.

can you please make sure it is correctly configured with scheduled and start conditions.

Hi Prakhar,

i have configured as per the process. i have created all the action profile & condition in the same way i configured for ZMCR Requester & Change Manager Emails are triggering at the time request created & when the request approved but when ever tester clicks on Action -> Successfully Tested email is not triggering. i have creation action for ZDHF, zmhf_actions & define conditions as E0005.

Please suggest.

Hi Ashish,

I am wondering, did you define the right option in the action profile:

Please make sure that processing time is set to "Processing when saving document".

and the checkmark "Schedule Automatically" is enabled.

Please verify if these are correctly set and try again.

Hi  Wouter Huiberts,

i have given the same option in action profile as you mentioned.

but still mails are not triggering.

please  suggest some other workaround.

Hello Ashish ,

Thanks for your reply. Can you also confirm that the related condition has the similar settings as defined in my screenshot below?

Please make sure you apply the conditions in the "Schedule Condition", and not the "Start Condition".

The user status name: e.g. E0001ZMIN0001 depends on the name of the user status you want to use and ZMIN stands for the transaction type name. You can also define these for change requests: like ZMCR

Hello Wouter,

I have tried deleting start condition & put condition in scheduling Tab.

i have selected the Option: "urgent correction has been successfully tested".

E005ZDHFHEAD.

no such option is available "Automatic send an e-mail"
