Hi everyone,

We have installed Netweaver 7.4 R2 and SAP Mobile Documents on Windows machine.

We are trying to change the url from http://localhost:50000/nwa to http://localhost/nwa

Also we are trying to do the same for http://localhost:50000/mcm  to http://localhost/mcm

Also, the url  should be accessible on the network (http://ip/mcm)

We took help of articles such as;

1. http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Change+Portal+URL?original_fqdn=wiki.sdn.sap.com

2.

3. http://solveissue.com/note?id=1577357

We have changed the port to 80.

But we are not able to access the url due to error (attached)

All suggestions would be helpful.

Regards,

Suraj

Hello Peter,

Is that the only possible solution?

I am not going access the url from external source.

And we will be using it to just test SAP mobile documents from browser of a computer in same network as server.

Hi Suraj,

i think that is the easiest solution, especially when you just want to forward 2 or 3 URLs.

Should not be to hard to set up. With Linux / Apache it takes around 15 Minutes, im not really into iis so i cannot estimate a time there, but it should not take too long

Hi Yuksel,

It is set as

# ICM Rewrite Rules for NWA (restrict access to local host)

if %{REMOTE_ADDR} !stricmp 127.0.0.1 [AND]

if %{REMOTE_ADDR} !stricmp ::1

RegIRedirectUrl ^/webdynpro/resources/sap.com/tc~lm~itsam~ui~mainframe~wd/.*$ /nwa/remote_access_error [QSA]

This is only for Administrator, right?

Hi Prithviraj,

In which file can I find icm/HTTP/redirect_X pareameter?

Is it in C:\usr\sap\XYZ\SYS\profile\XYZ_J00_SMDTest ?

Or another file?

Hi Suraj,

You need to set the parameter in instance profile of your server @ the location C:\usr\sap\XYZ\SYS\profile\XYZ_J00_SMDTest

If there are multiple server make sure you set it in all the instance profiles.

Also check that all the point mentiond in the sap note are completed..

Hi Prithviraj,

The parameter is not seen in C:\usr\sap\XYZ\SYS\profile\XYZ_J00_SMDTest

But I will set it to 80 for now.

There is only one server.

We have followed the steps given in article: 1577357, when we changed port to 80.

Also, we do not want to change http://localhost:50000/irj/portal

We want to change http://localhost:50000/mcm/  to http://localhost/mcm/

which is used for accessing SAP Mobile Documents by users.
