MaxDB installation error: Urgent Help

Hi,

I am installing NW developers workplace SR2.

My installation is hanged during the step "Create Database Schema".

How to clear it. I couldn't find any error in the log.

Need Urgent help!!!!

Hello,

Problem:

If the database manager operator (control) user password contains the character "@", the db_create command gets stuck. If the database system administrator (superdba) user password contains the character "@", the db_activate command gets stuck. If the database user password contains the character "@", the "create user" command gets stuck.

Solution

Make sure you do not enter "@" in a database password.

-> Are you using the special characters in the passwords selected during the installation?
