Hi Expert,

During our abaper do a custom program to trigger an email, we found out

table SOST and field MSGV2 is return different result in different

system.

It should be sender name instead of SMTP server name. Please refer

Hi,

Could you please elaborate your requirements as for what purposes you need recipient emails here.As same data you can fetch from table ADR6.

Hi Gaurav,

In other abap system like ECC, we able to get the sender details from table SOST field MSGV2 but not in solman.

Hello Raymond,

Maybe this is a stupid suggestion but have you compared the differences of transaction SCOT --> SMTP interface between ECC and your Solution Manager.

Maybe the SMTP interface is not correctly addressing the mail server.

Thanks for your advises. It is the same just different user interface as ECC is 7.3 and Solman is 702

Hello Raymond,

From a technical perspective everything seems to be okay then.

Do you use the same Z* report on Solution Manager as on the ECC system?

Perhaps the FM which is used in this report should be used on a different Netweaver version.

On our Solution Manager (7.1 SP11) we see the recipient in the field you mentioned above. So I dont think it is related to a technical SAP problem.
